With nearly 40 years of global experience in the oil and gas industry, I specialize in optimizing production, diagnosing well performance, and driving strategic business development. My career began in 1985 with Anatesco in Bakersfield, California, where I first entered the oil patch. Since then, I’ve built a career spanning continents, working in major oil-producing regions including Midland, Texas; Duri, Sumatra, Indonesia; Houston, Texas; Singapore; Kuala Lumpur; and Holland, before returning full circle to Bakersfield.

As Chief Commercial Officer at Anatesco, I focus on expanding our service offerings, including MiniGauge testing, Sonic Fluid Level Testing, and Dynamometer Testing, to meet the growing needs of operators for precision, compliance, and efficiency. I am passionate about forging long-term partnerships with clients like CHEVRON, PDO, SHELL, PERTAMINA and others, where our technologies play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate production data and resolving challenges posed by low producing wells and overwhelmed by high production systems.

My expertise lies in delivering innovative solutions tailored to the specific needs of operators. From deploying advanced diagnostic tools to developing workforce capabilities, my approach is rooted in a commitment to operational excellence and customer success. I also drive initiatives to streamline processes through technology, such as implementing CRM systems like HubSpot to enhance client engagement and business development.

Over the course of my career, I’ve developed a deep understanding of the challenges production engineers face—from optimizing artificial lift systems to ensuring regulatory compliance with CalGEM and other governing bodies. By leveraging advanced technologies and data-driven strategies, I help operators maximize well performance, minimize downtime, and achieve their operational goals.
